Meet Katy

Katy Pritchard is a U.S.-trained esthetician and certified laser technician now based in Porto. Her esthetics education and professional qualifications were earned in Colorado, where she developed her approach to personalized facial treatments and client care.
Her training includes dermaplaning, chemical exfoliation, microdermabrasion, facial massage, manual lymphatic drainage, Hydrafacial, and a range of advanced aesthetic technologies. Her professional experience has included customized facial treatments, laser treatments, client consultation, and detailed pre- and post-treatment care.
At The Glow Room, Katy has chosen to focus that experience around something deliberately simple: thoughtful, hands-on skin care in a warm private setting. Treatments are adapted to the person in front of her rather than built around pressure, trends, or an endless list of things to correct.
A native English speaker now making Porto home, Katy is also actively learning Portuguese.
